VIVIENNE WESTWOOD
The Vivienne Westwood bridal collection embodies a sense of new beginnings; transparency in sheer fabrics, transformative elements, and metamorphic three-dimensional silhouettes.
Unique Westwood pattern cutting techniques and fabrics, create looks with an ethereal quality – ‘from another world, sculpted for goddesses’, whilst contemporary exposed corsetry and layered tulle bring a painterly romance to the collection.

The Vivienne Westwood Bridal Couture Collection is seen through a series of portraits shot in Paris, real people, each captured with an intimate view on companionship and marriage – a free-thinking and liberated perspective.
Pictured in their own environment, the subjects tell their story of love. This could manifest as the affinity they find in another person - or even an abstract feeling, object or belief.
Through their stories, the collection reflects both a traditional and changing social landscape.
Presenting ten couture looks within the collection; we see Jordan and Marco at home, they share a deep adoration for each other and the space they inhabit together – Marco is dressed in a wool gaberdine single breasted ivory dinner suit with corset and Jordan in a Chantilly lace layered neckline corset dress.
For model Gaia, with her sons and mother Cecile – companionship and comfort are reflected in a multi-generational scene, pictured after the loss of her father. Cecile wears an ethereal double layer chiffon sculpted gown, heavy with ancient Greek drapery – a symbol of hope and recovery, and Gaia wears a dramatic Rococo inspired corseted ballgown with statement sleeves, in shimmering organza rose jacquard – reflecting renewal.
Artist Tali, appears in a scallop Chantilly lace corset mini dress with hood and fingerless gloves – shot alone in her studio, echoing her solitary life as a painter and the empowerment she holds in trusting her internal belonging for warmth, curiosity and wonderment.
